A personal note from Art Farnsworth

It's now mid-October, and there is more good news to share with you! The government LOST its interlocutory appeal regarding the proposed jury instruction dealing with an assessment being a prerequisite for an evasion of payment charge. We have a new trial date of Monday, December 4, and at that time, the government will presumably limp back into court with a weaker case than before. It never had a case, of course, as no one can legitimately be charged with evading a tax for which he is not made liable by law.

This is good news for all of us in the third circuit, as it means that if we don't assess ourselves, the government will be hard-pressed to bring its bogus and unlawful tax evasion charges against us.

This case affects many people other than me! My win is OUR win!

It is for this reason that I want to thank you in advance for visiting this legal fund donation page and considering helping me in my efforts. The government's unlawful intrusion into my life and its attempt to prosecute and persecute me has cost tens of thousands of dollars to date. I'm trying to get back to full time, better paying work, but this legal matter has made it difficult. I thus humbly ask for your generous support in this matter.
